Step 4 | Setting Up Your Signature & Initials

Once you have read and understood the agreement in full, scroll back to the top of the page and click the “Next” button on the top right corner of the page. 

This will take you to the first place in the document that you need to initial which looks like this; 

 

Setting Up Your Signature & Initials

Click the “Initial” button and follow the instructions to set up your signature. DocuSign will allow you to choose a font and signature style that you would like to use. Please note: you do not have to use your actual signature, however any signature that you use on this document is as legally binding as your original signature on pen and paper. 

 

Enter your full legal name and your initials in the appropriate boxes;

 You can then choose a signature font and style. Click the blue “Change Style” button on the right hand side; 

This will give you several options to choose from. Simply scroll through the list and click on the signature style that you like best; 

If you prefer, you can also draw your own signature by clicking the blue “Draw” link;

 

Once you have selected your signature, click the “Adopt and Initial” button;

 

Your signature / initial should now appear in place of the “Initial” button and automatically take you to the next section that needs an initial or signature.
